Please do not remove or put in the filter section. + Please rinse in the shower prior to entering the hot tub to ensure a clean hot tub. + If hot tub requires a drain and refill due to excessive dirt, broken glass or products not suitable for hot tubs, guests are responsible for the $400 fee. SEPTIC TANK + This home has a septic tank. Absolutely no items other than human waste and provided toilet paper are allowed to be flushed down the toilets. NO PERMANENT RESIDENCE + Guests agree that use of the property is on a temporary and transient basis only; that guest may not use the property as a permanent residence; and that guest’s permanent residence is and will remain elsewhere than at the property. CANCELLATIONS Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 90 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 7 days away at time of booking (and CC payment has not yet been submitted). **Summer on Crystal Lake is our peak season. Most guests book 3-4 months ahead for full week-long stays with large groups, and when a week cancels late, it's nearly impossible to rebook. Our stricter summer policy protects your reserved dates and ensures we can continue offering competitive rates and maintain the property year-round. PAYMENTS via DIRECT BOOKING • All Credit Card payment methods are accepted including Zelle+Venmo Stripe is our credit card processor 1st Payment 50% required within first 48 hours. 2nd Payment Due 14 days before arrival, collected automatically *Guest Reminder An email reminder will be sent to the guest if a payment is not scheduled to be automatically collected • TRAVEL INSURANCE Optional but recommended. We highly suggest purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen reasons for cancellation. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A Security Deposit is not held as we have opted for mandatory damage waiver insurance that is included with each reservation. **Accidents happen—but we've got us all covered with damage protection.
