WE'RE THE SMITHS—
Hi there.
Living through a pandemic with young kids, quickly forced us all to prioritize differently—choosing quality over quantity and creating space for peace, family, (a couple friends) and adventure. When life seemed to be crumbling around us, we found our "happy place" in the Colorado mountains.

Summer became about paddle boarding, hiking, and breathing fresh air.
That O.G. "Nest" was born in the quiet Silverthorne neighborhood locals know as Wildernest (I thought I was so clever at the time) and hosting grew somewhat unintentionally—a way to fund renovations to our Nest—but quickly became something so much more: a deep joy and passion for helping to create incredible lifelong experiences for families just like ours.

Since 2020, we've helped create memories in three different Colorado mountain homes and have then narrowed down to three thoughtfully curated properties, in three very different markets: The Nest Silverthorne in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, White Birch Nest on Crystal Lake in NW Michigan, and The Sideline Club in the Bradenton/Sarasota area of Florida—our newest wellness retreat near IMG Academy.

The Collective represents a bigger vision: collaboration over competition. We believe in raising the bar for vacation rentals, improving the industry's reputation, the guest experience and giving back to the communities we help serve.
​
Our mom-and-pop approach means heartfelt hospitality within experiential stays. So go ahead, pack your bags, round up the kids, grab the pup. We've likely got the rest covered.
